SUMMER 2013: After many long hours of state inspections, Milburn’s is now Maryland State GAP certified -what does this mean? Good Agricultural Practices. Things like good record keeping, good sanitation practices, field and packing house handling, employee safety, environmental safety…and much more is heavily inspected and recognized highest standards.

Congrats to the Milburn Family–Milburn Orchards received Cecil County Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year Award (11-50 employees) on Sept 30, 2011 with a very enthusiastic standing ovation!
Introducing Miss Zoe Milburn, age 16, recently crowned Miss Cecil County Farm Bureau. Next up for Zoe was competing at the state level, where she took 2nd runner up against 22 other counties. Zoe is the first representative from Cecil County to sit on the court in many years! Way to go Zoe!…Zoe is also an honor roll student at Elkton Christian Academy. We are all so VERY proud of her. You may want to congratulate her yourself…you will often see her working along side her father, Nathan Milburn, or grandfather, Evan Milburn, in our U-Pick adventure fields.
March 8, 2010-Congrats to Evan Milburn, who received the “Hall of Fame” Award from IFTA (International Fruit Tree Association). This is a world-wide acknowledgement and rarely awarded. More details to follow!
