Milburn’s Farm Market will re-open on for the season on Friday, June 4th…Lunch & Ice Cream Deck will also open so we hope to see you! And, yes, we will have your apple cider donuts ready for you!
U-Pick Cherries starts Thursday, June 10…8am at our Fair Hill location! U-Pick is ALWAYS a great educational opportunity for the kids…and family fun too!
With over 6000 trees to get into the ground, Milburn Orchards has already put 2 years work into just getting the dirt ready for today. The grounds have to be in “perfect” condition in order for these cherry trees (and apple) to survive. A very exciting week for us here on the farm!
The rental bees have also arrived and very busy at work already…the busier they are the better the crops!
We also have to teach a little at a time to the next generation. This is Collin (age 9), Melinda’s son. We told him how the tree planting works and that it would be about when he is our age when the trees need replaced. By the look on his face, I don’t think he could even imagine being our age!
Market open all week til 7pm-last chance to get your pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks & hay bales. This Weekend, Oct 31 & Nov 1-”Trick or Treat” Festival- bring the kids in costume 10am-4pm…and last weekend of U-Pick Apples (Fuji).

U-PICK Update 9/20/09- U-Pick Raspberries, Blackberries and Grapes are now finished for the season! Grapes still available in the farm market for a limited time! This weekend in U-Pick apples is Red & Golden Delicious and Jonagold (limited).
Update 9/11/09-All U-Pick fields will be closed on Sat, 9/12 due to rain/mud….Sunday is looking good, however, call or visit our web before you come!
Update 9/8-HoneyCrisp & Orange Honey are a very light crop this year, may have to open up to Red Delicious this coming weekend… depends on the crowd of pickers!
